“Sechsunddreissig” mi frullava nella testa da anni. La sequenza degli accordi in modulazione verso l’alto con un pattern regolare cercava fin dall’inizio il giusto tema di tromba. Alla fine, canticchiandoci su durante gli innumerevoli ascolti, ho sentito che questa era la strada corretta. Qualche campionamento tratto dalla cinematografia degli anni ’60 e il brano poteva prendere il volo.

“Sechsunddreissig” has been going through my mind for some years. The regularly ascending chord sequence has been waiting for the right trumpet theme. Eventually, while humming listening to it, I felt that singing was the right direction. A few samples of movie soundtracks from the ’60s and the song was ready to take flight.
