A short number based on intervals of seconds and thirds. The “nervous” theme, lead by doublebass and drums paired, explodes in an improvisational development based on the same intervals of the main melody. The final reprise is nothing but a true reconstruction that comes after the elaborations made in the improvised section.

Breve composizione strutturata su un pattern di tipo intervallare-ritmico, seconde e terze minori su figure ritmiche di crome. La “nervosa” parte tematica, condotta dal contrabbasso e raddoppiata dalla batteria, si stempera nel discorso improvvisativo in ambiti che si arricchiscono di evidenti richiami melodici, pur mantenendo l’aderenza alla struttura intervallare d’impianto. La ripresa del tema nel finale diventa un momento di ricomposizione, dopo la destrutturazione della sezione improvvisata.
