The piece is based on a doublebass ostinato that supports the twelve tone melody played by the piano. Drums provide support with various polyrhythmic process and guide the performance with variations in dynamics and tempo.

Il pattern che caratterizza questo brano consiste in un ostinato ritmico del contrabbasso che sostiene il motivo tematico ricavato da una serie eseguita dal pianoforte. La batteria contrappunta poliritmicamente le parti tematiche e funge da guida per gli sviluppi improvvisativi mediante alterazioni agogiche del beat.
