Ho sempre ammirato il modo in cui poeti come Cohen raccontino in musica, ed esorcizzino senza veli, i loro fantasmi…. una spirale drammatica affrontata nel brano del grande cantautore, il racconto di come una relazione di coppia si trasformi, a seguito della malattia di uno dei due, in un vicendevole rapporto vittima/carnefice, dove il malato e il caregiver vengono travolti da una valanga che devasta il loro amore… questo arrangiamento è partito dall’analisi del testo, per restituire all’ascoltatore la valanga attraverso le mie personali impressioni sonore ed armonie.
