Side Sight è il secondo album dei Raw Frame. I brani della band, tutti originali, attingono a piene mani dalla lezione del minimalismo e del jazz europeo contemporaneo, alternando temi essenziali e figure ritmiche ripetute a strutture aperte e ampi spazi d’improvvisazione, in cui la chitarra di Bolzoni assume un ruolo preponderante. Dalle semplici progressioni di Retell al ritmo incalzante di Sunny Cloud, l'originale matrice jazzistica della formazione si nutre sempre più di influenze pop e post-rock, esplora le qualità timbriche di ciascuno strumento e prova ad abbandonare le nicchie di genere. Chiamatelo, se vi pare, avant-garde o avant-jazz: l'importante è che Side Sight tocchi le corde emotive di ascoltatori “spuri”.
